OnlineMedEd FAQ

What is this program?

OnlineMedEd was founded on the principal that medical knowledge belongs to no one and therefore should be accessible to everyone.  These are challenging times.  We all owe it to each other to do our part and help those around us when we have the ability to do so.  So we’re officially making Case X available FREE to any institution that wants to provide it to their students.

There’s no substitute for working with real patients.  We all know that nothing can take the place of caring for a human being.  But if students aren’t able to do that – we owe it to them to provide something that approximates it.  Case X was designed to simulate real patient experiences.  As they progress through each case, new information becomes available, tests need to be run, symptoms emerge.  All in an interactive environment that starts with a video of a real patient discussing their situation – and all educationally linked to our underlying clinical curriculum, where 100% of the videos also happen to be free.

Our co-founder and lead educator, Dr. Dustyn Williams, made this video to explain our decision, along with his perspective on how the product can be used under these unique circumstances:

If you’d like to take advantage of our offer, send an email to and we'll respond as soon as possible.  All we’ll need is a list of email addresses and we can have the licenses distributed to your students within 24 hours.  The licenses will remain active until June 30, 2020, no strings attached.
